That sub is very nice, the only reason I wanted to sell it was to get a 18 that I could wire at 1 ohm and take 3000 rms. I have even posted about that in other sections. I already got the response of just getting a recone but why spend the money for a recone when someone else could get good use out of it. I wasnt trying to get rid of it all of a sudden either, I have been trying to sell it for months. I started at $750 which nobody even seemed to look twice at that price because someone was selling one for $500 so I went down to $500 and still nothing. I didnt want to go lower than that so I would have enough for another 18. Then I sold a couple decks and an amp I had sitting in my closet for very cheap. so I could get my 18. I even tried $300 and nobody was really showing interest. I even posted on CL for $300 and got a couple interested parties after I had already sold it on here. I could have changed my mind and taken $300 but I wanted it to go to a good home and see it being put to good use. After I sold it my wife and I decided to use the money for our albums and now this...at least I thought to myself someone is getting to enjoy that sub. I really hate that this happened, plus my wife and mom always complain that I sell shit too damn cheap but I want someone to feel happy with what they purchase. 99vic Posted August 15, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 15, 2008 well i took it out and wired it how lazeris said he had it and its reading the same ohm load he said it was reading for him. but when i read each coil separately it gives a strange reading, i dont think he tried to rip me he just docent seem like that type of guy. yea 250 for that sub is kind of crazy, but like he said he was selling it so cheap because he wanted to get another sub, the amp was seeing les than 1ohm i guess but could i have clipped it that bad with the amp as low as it was? or could it just be a defected sub being that its reading the same as when he had it? im not sure how it could have gone bad when it hasent been abused REST IN PARADISE BIG RICH (Sqmonte) never forgotten Why do you guys ALWAYS dispute on NUMBERS?????
