Pokey
IMO it may be too small. I'd try to wait it out if I were you. How bad could it be not being able to bump for a few days???

Slinky
Somebody correct me if im wrong but i dont think there is a problem with puttin it in now. you just wont reach the full potential of the alt. Pokey
True, and I didn't wanna say go for it and have something happen to it. So I'd try to wait it out. It's kinda like using 4ga wire for your amp when you need 1/0. Too small could end up hurting it or not giving it what it needs to perfore at its best. If you really wanna go through with it, go for it, but if anything happns...I'm not to blame here....blame slinky...LoL.
Dale
I was thinking that maybe your system could draw more current than the stock wiring will carry and cause overheating/melting. It's one thing if your alternator CANNOT provide more current. But it's a different thing to have an alternator that CAN provide the current, a system that CAN draw the current, BUT small wiring for the current. See my point? slim8605
yea i understand what your sayin Dale. i ordered my new wire from knukonceptz so i should be gettin it soon. i decided to wait a lil longer. so i wont have to blame slinky ;D Quote 1998 Toyota Camry XLE V6Goldwood GW-S650/4 6.5sEA 200a alt2009 Lancer GTSStock
