Eskii
I've never really been a huge fan of their subs, the whole square thing seems a tad wankey... But just wondering who likes there stuff, interested to know why too! -Eskii Quote Previous: 1988 Nissan Patrol Rockford T800.4 Rockford T1 15 (sealed) Rockford 6.5 Components Current: 1997 Jeep Wrangler Build goals... 1x RF P300.2 4x Hertz HCX165's Built Completes Alpine 9886 Headunit RF P300.2 RF P500-1bd 2x RF P2-D2 8" Subs, 1.3 cubes @39.5Hz 4x Hertz HCX130's Current comment... Decaf
altho wanky.. they are good for those without ears that can tell the difference between a good sounding speaker and a great sounding speaker u get more bang for ur buck since u get more cone area than a circular sub of the same size and they are known (soloxs) to put up low 170s db so they can do they job theres just better for the same money imo
loganuf
I use kicker subs, and i like em. They dont get the loudest, and they dont have the best SQ, but they are ok for the price. I have 4 L7's in a 14 cu ft. box and it gets pretty loud, i got the subs for 130 each, which is a lot cheaper than a lot of other brands that are the same quality.....so i would recommend them if your not wanting to spend crazy money on subs.. Derrick824
Kicker CVRs are IMO the best bang for the buck sub out there. They can get plenty loud. I've done high 47s with my CVR 15s off a Sundown saz-1500d.
Kicker Guy
Kicker CVRs are IMO the best bang for the buck sub out there. They can get plenty loud. I've done high 47s with my CVR 15s off a Sundown saz-1500d. I like the CVX better but both are good subs. Kickers are like any sub, if you know what u are doing u won't have any issues. kylecm85
i have had about every kicker sub in the past couple years before switching to boston and they are good for what they are. I liked howthe squares had more cone area than a traditional round sub but the sq is not very good but cant bet them for the price. Frozenbritches
Ok of course everyone on here has a career and or works full time..I don't have alot of money, so I have 2 15" L7's and they slam hard..detached the cone on one, reglued it, you can hear the noise when the bass knob is up and the volume is down but if not they still hit just as hard rofl...I think it's cause someone mentioned I probably didn't get it centered correctly when glued...anyways really good sub for the money like everyone else is saying...and whoever said you can get better for the same money please post up prices of other subs with the same loudness... sq is a different story....
