I'm looking to spend about $500 (yeah I know, not much but work with me Also I'm driving a 1997 Toyota 4Runner SR5 So please help me out and don't give me some "get out of here noob" bull crap because I just want help ~Steven Edited August 26, 2008 by SJClark09 Quote Who ever said nothing is impossible never tried to slam a revolving door. Brick2560
a AudioQue 2200D amplifier ($389 shipped) and a sub of your choosing. Maybe thats not what you were lookin for but who knows, that amp is one hell of a steal. Quote "Buy some shit, Build some shit, Bang some shit!" - Dr. DB Joe owns my soul. roscoe1129
and I would run some decent coaxials off the head unit till you can afford more for some decent componants and another amp plus wire/fuses/ accesories. roscoe1129
coaxials = a midrange speaker with the tweeter mounted to the center of it. cost less and takes less power to run therefore you can run it off of your in dash stereo aka head unit. Componants are seperate mids, tweets and crossovers and take more power to run and cost more. That is where the second amp will come in. You will need it to run componants. Then you need more power wire and fuses for the second amp etc etc... Eskii
Just use your head unit to power some plain old speakers that hav the woofer and tweeter all in one unit. I'd say pop an Fi SSD 15" in the back and power it off a hifonics amp or another reputable brand (lookin in F/S section of he forum!!!) For electrical, how is the stock alternator, bout 70Amps.... Look at another battery, 80Ah should be alright. Then do the big 3, build a box if you can. Ya set. That'll probs push the budget, but you won't be disappointed!!!
