Team_DC-Derrick
I know i have looked everywhere and i just cannot seem to find anything about these 2 amps, actual wattage wise. AP15001d and the AP30001d I know the 3k is just 2 1500s strapped internally but i would like to see numbers on both, considering i have had 2 15001ds and now i have 2 3000s. And NO i cannot test them my self, as i am overseas serving in the USArmy in the big big sand pit of hell. So please, any information about these 2 would be greatly appricated. -Derrick Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... Big P
There power ratings are over rated. I got to play with some and some that were even modded and I hated them completely.
MickyMcD
I disagree with Big P. I chucked in an AP15001D and a TXX-AP15BL in a friends car and it goes great guns for what it is. We did get them cheap, but I find the AP15001D to be worth the money he paid for it. Good little amplifier. Forevrbumpn
I was gonna ask "AP= Audiopipe?" Micky answered Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Agreed. I've got a TXX-AP12B, ran it off 25w rms or something, in a shit sealed box, shook my house just as much as my old 12" sub in the same box off 2x the power. God I can't wait till I get some real power on it in a real box. MickyMcD
I got slightly under rated power @ 2 ohm driving the AP-15Bl. Rated is 950 watt, to be safe I left it pushing about 40 volts, around 800 watt @ 35hz. But, distorting slightly, it would do it's rated at 2 ohm, 35hz. I can't tell you how it performs at other impedance loads, but I like it.
