Is It "wrong" That I Wired My To 1ohm This Way?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if it is "wrong" that I wired my drivers down to 1ohm using this method of wiring. As you can see in the picture, the drivers are divided into 2 banks, laft 4 screws, and right 4 screws. Each driver is a D1, can you tell by the picture if I wired them correctly to achieve a 1 ohm load? If there is a different and better way of doing this, please let me know....Thanks

i believe that wiring is correct. looks you have each sub wired in a series/parallel fashion. from the amp, + to one coil, - to the other coil, then you wired the coil together in series correct? that will give you a 1 ohm load. i had my old setup wired that way
