Pics & Vid Of Sundown's "beast" Prototype

Recommended Posts

Jacob let a local competitor test out the Beast in his car at a comp this weekend. The car is a Dodge Neon that competes in out stock Trunk class. Power was provided by a pair of Memphis 4kds.

Vid. My digicam sucks at vids. The movement was much more violent in person.

Brandon's Bronco, my Expo, and DJ's truck. Sundown had a strong showing at this event.

Bronco doors. Those E8s move like you wouldn't believe. After seeing his I'll probably be glassing a pair into my doors also.

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

One thing I forgot to mention is that he beast Coils are 1.14 DCR - so he was actually seeing less power per amp than he would see with other "D1" drivers :) If he had a smaller box and dropped the amps down LOW I bet the score would have been even better!
