avs20
I cant find an answer to my question through searching, so Ill just go ahead and ask it. Will I have any problems running this amp off of a 16v system that charges at 19.1-19.2? I know it can handle 16+ volts, but I also know some amps dont like to see that high of a voltage while charging. What about the remote wire...safe off the same voltage? Ive read of some problems with remote wire voltage being too high and not letting the amp stay on. Thanks guys.
emperorjj1
wouldnt the remote be at 12v anyways? Quote J. Sampsonite
The remote shouldn't be any higher than 12 volts. But the amp will take the voltage fine I know someone runnin 3 of them on a 16 volt + system Quote --Sampson 816-591-6592 www.kcrimshop.com
avs20
I just wasnt sure about anything over 19 volts. Most people charge around ~18.0-18.

avs20
And as for the remote wire....I ran my v4000xd's off of a 16v remote wire. Not sure why this would be any different, but wanted to see if anyone had experience with this amp. My Visoniks never got warm at 16v's..and I beat the crap out of them for hours on end at times. Its not going into protect thou. Did the voltage drop quite a bit on the remote prior to going 16v? Quote J.
