E a r t h Posted September 30, 2008 Report Share Posted September 30, 2008 Just a fyi, if you decide to use 8gauge, brands like Rf, Knu and the like use really high strand count and are very difficult to get all strands in cleanly. meaning, ''bird nesting'' the outer strands of wire around the cable. Cheaper lower quality economy style 8gauge seems to fit in easily without much effort. Just thought i'd let you know from my personal experience with this.
