Boon
that's like 2.4 cub ft per pair of subs before displacements. How much airspace should they be getting in a SPL setup?? How much power are you giving them? That idea could work but you would want the ports at the back, longer wave length = more distance for the wave to develop.. Maybe something like this... you don't have enough room on the face for 4 subs now that I did the numbers... 10.x volts fo' life!

SPL KID
I like that design but the ports would need to be up top due to back seat braces. And the port on the design cuts into sub hole opening. is that to actual scale or just a mock-up? stereomayhem
Cool looking design but I was wondering the same thing about the woofer holes and the port. Good idea though. www.stereomayhem.com
quakecitystudio
It would depend on what the shape of the back of the woofer is, the size port you want, and your placement of the holes for the woofers. I have slight change for the port though, how about having the ports firing through the rear deck, from the top of the box. quakecitystudio
The 3d version is a mock up. The Illustrator version is to scale. Bass Music Producer • Photographer • Graphic Designer -------------- Deep Sector Boom...
Charger
I like Boon's idea that is similar to a clamshell. It would need a few tweaks but looks like a solid design.
