loganberry
get a stetsom 2kd you take all the positives and all the negatives from both subs and put them together (giving you a 1 ohm final load) bolt/washer/wingnut helps keep all that clean when so many wires goni together Edited October 3, 2008 by loganberry Quote My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
meade916
The only thing about getting a RF T2000 is that you would have to set the gain up to 3/4 or more the get the 2000 watts depending on how strong of an amp it was. The higher you set the gains the more the demand on the eletrical.... not true at all. if you have to turn your gain up that high for full power, you probably have a weak signal coming in. With a strong signal off the RCA's coming in, you can get full power with gains ALL THE WAY DOWN. Gain is not a volume knob... usmc7980
to run two subs on a mono amp jumper the wiring from sub to sub to achieve the desired ohm load then go the amp with one set of wires, easiest way to show would be to look at this and play with combinations http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp
DillKil10
ok, i get it now. but now what i don't get is how do most ppl connect the speaker wires? cuz on the diagram it shows two wires going into the terminal but then connecting to another one since it'll be two subs. how do you connect that 3rd one? cuz i won't b able to fit 3 wires into 1 terminal. i hope you understand what im saying.
