ChevyBoy Posted January 13, 2007 Report Share Posted January 13, 2007 they look sweet keep us posted...btw how do you attach the kicks to the door???its not really your door. its your kick panel. uh, our chevy ones have a lil plastic nipple that sticks out and goes into the sheet metal. other than that, before you mount your speaker, you can drill into the side of the sheet metal and put a screw in it. in other cars, you can just leave them there on the floor if you fiberglassed the bottom and it might not roll around. pstone11 Posted January 14, 2007 Author Report Share Posted January 14, 2007 Well, they're done - I had a couple of spots that I've had to resand and bondo, but they turned out good. I ended up doing a couple layers of primer. Followed by a coat of Rust-Oleum Hammared Grey spraypaint. Then after that dried, I put a coat of regular chevy grey semi-gloss paint over that. It's freaky close to stock chevy texture and look. If you want pics of anything - let me know - I'm telling you - it's really close to chevy plastics...
