New Monitor - 32" 1080p! Edit: 37" Now

Recommended Posts

Well the time has come to upgrade from my little 24" LCD ive had for a few years....i wanted at least a 30 because i love a lot of screen when im gaming. I thought to myself, i can get a 32" 1080p flatscreen that looks exactly like a monitor for cheaper then a real monitor and it will do much more.....so i did :D Got a good deal too... It looks FANTASTIC! I know its technically not as good as a real monitor but its hard to tell the difference really. The old monitor was 1920 x 1200 this one is 1920 x 1080 and looks perfect - so im happy with it. Oh, its being ran thru the HDMI port off an DVI/HDMI adapter...

its hard to show just how big it is, the pics make it look small - but there is a CD on it to give you an idea

i love my Alienware....i just made a post about it the other day. Its at an age where most computers would be starting to get outdated but mine is still holding its own at 1 1/2 years. :)

The set up your talking about would sound great in my Tahoe. Trade you my dog for it. He has one eye but that only makes for bad depth perception so hey so what if he is running into shit, look at it this way he is easy to sneak up ninja style on. (right side only)

lets just say it was more then $5900 and less then $6000...and yes i know you can build it cheaper on new-egg LOL. At least now anyway :D At the time, everything in it was the newest of the new....so if thats what you want you gotta pay for it.

hell ya i was anxious, i think new monitor day is right up there with new rim day when it comes to my cars/trucks :D Ill be used to it in a couple days but right now im like a little kid with a new toy :D Oh and dont trip on the 1360 x 768, my "old" 50" plama is like that and it STILL looks amazing to me...maybe not as a computer monitor but as an over all TV it still gets the job done nicely! If your gonna hook a pc up to it though 1080 is the way to go.
