What Ohm Can U Get Wit 3 Dual 1 Ohm Subs

The most common loads that you'll see are .16 ohms(all coils and subs paralled), 1.5 ohms(coils paralled, subs series), 6 ohms(all coils and subs series), and .66 ohms(coils series and subs paralled).

Here is a formula to help you. R=resistance of coil/woofer

R1*R2

R1+R2 =total resistance of woofers

You can use this for the coils first then use it to figure your load after you decide your coil configuration.

1.5ohms won't work for you ? Most class D amps can handle 1 ohm, can't they ? I know mine can, and I didn't think it was too super special....

Peace,

Fish

Even if your amp is only two ohm stable 1.5 would prolyl be okay b/c of box rise....but you would have to make sure your electrical is up to par.
