Nightshade
Do 4 12 to 18 inches long to start then çut till you get the sound you want But use 4 not 2 4 4's would work, but 2 6's would be more efficient and be louder on the mic Quote 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz

Agree with that. loganberry
Agree with that. I suggested a very similar setup with the tuning to 33hz id like to use 6" ones, im sure it would sound better, but this is a matter of me living in a town with 3k ppl on a good day and this box being used for 1 day possibly 2, i dont have the resources of a 6" pipe or port and i dont feel like drivin an hour + and spendin all that extra when i have the 4" here.. if i had a week or so sure id go with the 6" but i have 23 hours so its a no go Quote My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
Nightshade
Is it a box for a comp? If so I see what you're saying. You could always buy some aeroports and take them out of the box and use them in another one when you decide to scrap the one your going to do. 6" aeros are expensive though. The flare is what helps them get so loud too, so just using regular plumbing pipe won't be as loud as an aeroport. It's just something for you to think about.
