bass 4 love Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 When i put my foot in it, it takes off kinda slow but when it reaches 4000 RPM it will put u in the seat same thing goes for 2-3 also its a AOD tranny and after a few times of doing that it wiill idle really high like 1500 RPM someone said that i was either getting to much gas or air? how do i adjust that Quote

Loudcav Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 theres never a thing of too much air its all in the fuel Id imagine that its a bit Rich meaning you have too much fuel if its a carb you should be able to adjust a couple screws on the side of it Quote

More air isn't ever really a problem as long as the mixture is right. It is all in how much fuel there is for the amount of air. Anyways, to help you out a little.... What 5.0 do you have? carbed or fuel injected?
