the local shop has abunch of DD stuff. and the subs look pretty nice. but i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the amps or anything from them.

And far as the best connection ever.......

get a huge fucking battery, cut the top off, drop an alt in there and then pour all that into your big amplifier. or just smelt them all together.

If you go to any bigger audio shows, a good percentage of competitors, mainly those going for SPL are running DD. They can sure as hell take a beating with a fuck ton of power thrown at them.

Ive only heard strictly SPL setups, ive seen daily setups but never really heard how they are on music. Maybe find someone in your area so you can get a real feel for the brand.

thats a nice piece of info there. atleast i know they can take a beating. yeah i might go ask the shop owner if he still has his dd setup. ik he took out his massive dd amp though.

I've owned a couple of DD woofers in the past and they are as good as already said. If you might want a daily setup that can get loud on the mic the 3500 series woofers could be a good choice for you. I had 2 12's in my car in '00 and they were very strong off of a RF1100@2. As far as mic scores at the time they did 147's on the AC in a trunk car. So in today's terms I would have been doing 142's or 143's. Which wasn't bad for the time, but as of now would be laughed at for those subs. I can't say anything about the amps, but Charger here on the site may be able to help you out with that. He runs a couple of them in his ride.
