i thought about it but it probably wont be any of those two styles....those are kinda ugly to me. I probably would run something close to stock but a little darker, or maybe all red (no yellow or white).

If you were to go darker, The best thing you can do is to have them professionally painted.

You mix clear coat with a little bit of black. You sand down the taillights with a DA with about 400grit then tape off the backing. Put them in a booth or where ever and do about two coats with the darkened clear. That do it yourself light tint does not work well at all. It can leave bubbles and can also dry on uneven leaving bumps throughout it.

By using the clear coat, you can also wax your lights so they will no longer get that nasty haze on them anymore.

i've done the do it yourself tint. twice now actually. and it's worked perfectly for me. for years now. no bubbles or anything

you just have to know what youre doing. its all in the prep stages as to how it adheres. then u worry about spraying correctly either way (in a booth or at home). either one can be done right and wrong. ive done 3 sets of lights now with no problems. (spray cans) then u clear over them.
