alphasig293 Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 About 4 years ago or so I tried selling my 6 alpine type R12's and 2 jl audio 1000's on ebay. Well I had a guy make an offer to me and I took it. He wanted 4 of the alpine type R12's and my 2 jl audio 1000's. I was new to ebay and didn't know to wait for my paypal account credit to clear my bank before I shipped my stuff. Well I shipped it one Monday and got an email about an hour after I dropped it off at the ups place, It said I had recieved a fraudelant account. Needless to say my stomach dropped. I couldn't stop the shipment and I freaked out. The guy kept sending my money threw paypal accounts, so I was hoping one would go through. But the day it was delivered the emails and paypals stopped and I was stuck with a $150 ups fee, over $250 in back fees from paypal. So I lost my 12's my amps and my pride that week. It took me so long to even get back on ebay again. Ebay wouldn't do anything about it because it was an offer off of ebay. So I was basically f@@ked. Well hope you all enjoyed my sobb story, maybe this will help someone one day. I wish I new the address I shipped it to, it was actually shipped to Cali, to a BigBadassSpeady323 I think that was his name one ebay. Well now when I do sale stuff on ebay believe me I get my money first guys.
