2 12" T1s Vs 1 12" Re Mt

Recommended Posts

In the well theres not really a whole lot of room, so i honestly dont think id be able to do a ported box with 2 12's .. so it'd either be the 2 T1's sealed or the MT possibly ported if there is enough room. I want it to be really loud and felt, but also have real nice SQ

it depends on your box and power... it depends on the Xmax of the MT, cuz we already know it can take 4x what a T1 can take.

this is a tough one...the T1s have more cone area but the MT is a BEAST and handles MUCH more power

Well i was planning on a box running between 30 and 44 hertz running the t1's a little above their rms at around 700-800 a piece and if i ran the MT i was planning on running it with 2000-3000..

im a sucker for cone area, but re's are sexy xD. id say mt with a shit load of power just because people will be impressed when your keeping up with multiple subwoofer setups with a single 12".

i think the t1's would have better sq tho, im not sure but i always put an mt with spl.

well im upgrading from 2 10" Rockford P2's... so it'll def be a big step up whichever way i go.. but my friends rag on me for my 2 10s even though they keep up pretty well with their 12's but i would like to get the best system i can with the subs costing between $500-$700 total.. then prolly $700-1200 in amps lol (mainly becuz i wanna go with rockford amps unless someone can recommend other good amps at a better price)...
