My best friend just got an R6, and he wants me to ride it but I want to try out the ninja first because I want something to look forward to lol. My mom isn't too happy about me getting a bike, i can tell she just wont say anything because she knows i'll do what i want anyways since she's not paying for anything, my dad doesn't know yet. My grandmother will disown me (in the words of my brother) haha looking forward to it. CR Boom
Good starter bike.. You will get bored within 2 months IMO.... Just remember once you get on the road, Nobody, and I mean Nobody on 4 wheels will look out for you... In my opion when you do move up skip the 600 stage and go straight to a 1000, the money differance isn't that much... and being as big as me you won't be happy with a 6 either. R6 in my opion a street legal track bike, not a every day ride. lowblueranger
Very good starter bikes- but you will grow out of it very quickly. Just take your time and get to know it first and then have fun. I'm rebuilding a FZR 600 right now (winter project), but I'm almost done with it. I bought a zx12r this summer, and love the size and power-I've owned lot's of bikes. I've had newer 600's and they're just making them smaller and smaller-I'm too big for them, they're more for racing. ENJOY!
