MTX J30 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 (edited) i started a topic in general audio and it got removed for some reason. I was just asking if these were good subs. this happened about a week ago. i found a video of them today. they dont seem loud and it does not look like there moving alot. is there something wrong with them or is it just the song or amp. these are 12" subs and i want the 15"s. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDr11J8wnv4 they move at the end a little. Edited November 4, 2008 by i dont know much about bas Quote Once or twice I have missed having a back seat / rear hatch, but all in all people love to see a walled vehcile. It just screams "i'm not fucking around with my setup, im loud"

sactownstang Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 the amp looked like it had power cause when he turned the knob they moved. Plus the hatch is wide open.... Quote
Forevrbumpn Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 subs are moving fine if you ask me, I see them cones getting thrown around Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
banginAltima Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 From my understanding, If you play close to the boxes tuned freq. they will not move as much unless you have an ass of power to them. A smaller box helps control sub movement under high power. Quote If you build it, db's will come... NSPL World Record Holder Trunk 0-1800 watts---147.9 with 1722 clamped watts @ 40Hz(9-20-09).
