Damn, you're right - those MT's have that expanding surround that actually moves to the outside of the basket for more excursion while the sub is playing. Good catch! I'll have to go ahead and remake that whole piece...... Or not..... If it's not touching now, it's not going to. Not a ton of progress... made a second port face for the shorter 36hz vent. Finished putting the shorter one together too.. Right now they're just taped together and getting some 45's so they will be exactly the same. I still need to cut the excess 'ears' off the smaller port, and finish glassing and sanding the outsides of the kerfs, just haven't got around to it yet.
