ptcary
That would be cool in trunk car with a fold down seat! I would skip the kicker's though! I've been looking into 8's as well, but only one for the trailblazer. I was looking at either the DD 1508, or the CVR. I can get only the CVR in a 1 ohm configuration, and the DD in a 2 ohm, iI need 1 ohm. jhmeg2
I like the idea.... I like the re re8 also RE... nice yes, but they can only take 175 watts. And they are dual 4, i need them to handle more power and be at one ohm. Ummmm 8 dual 4ohm subs can wire into 1 ohm....dual 4s in series and then parallel all 8 together....bam 1ohm and if you looking at E8s I have 4 forsale for cheap. But if your wanting a more powerful 8 I would look at the DD 1508 like mentioned or the SoundSplinter RL-I8 <----its a beast! Forevrbumpn
8s are fun speakers, get the right 8, and build the right box, you will definitely be impressed, and impress others I just did a DD 1508 8" in a horn loaded box, and it sounded amazing for low end, and SQ, got pretty loud too Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
