I dunno - I was told this place rocked - seems like a big fizzle out to me! The topic says it all - and I'm the one giving that 'topic' away for being the best at the show - so I just hope that everyone is just too busy working to reply!

ill be going but I have to borrow money for a toy from my friend to go. I wont be able to do that crazy 8s though. I simply dont have the money. I just had to take a big financial blow since my catalytic converter just went up. $600 from Honda. Luckily moms split the cost with me but I only had $360 in the bank...

Im bummed as shit right now that I cant do this

So, who's working on their box for Krazy 8's??????? Here's a lil somethin I'm working on!

Lol, a double layer box for an 8" woofer. Talk about overkill. I wish I were a little bit close to you guys cause I'd be all over this one in a heartbeat. I've got a hatch car achin for an 8 inch beast in it. Not to mention I've got at least 3K on tap at 2 ohms for it

I'm betting that I would need more than one for a show though cause I'd more than likely blow it up each time it's turned on.

i dont know if it was mentioned but Pete from PWK has 2 DD audio 1508s hitting over 155 in a crx ...and that was with the single voice coil. I know they have a dual 4 ohm working on releasing a dual 2 ohm soon as well.

Nah - not crx - PT Kruiser! The 55's, not sure, the dvc's have been available for awhile - that's what I have now. I'm only figuring a 38 at the dash with 300 watts at the moment - just knowing my car anyway. Will be dropping 1200 watts on it in the end, so far - 59 hz, not done though. Besides, I still consider crx's to have the ultimate advantage spl wise, as anyone here. Most newcomers don't have them or if they do, they don't know the legacy this car has built - so, it's why I feel a novice class should be in effect as well as a vet class. Let the big guys go at it while paving the way for the new guys - w/o chasing anyone away.

Also, what meter was used for that 55, the T/L? I would assume so, I only heard of one score that high so far, and he works for DD now.

Yeah 1.5" thick, that's just a sick BK tradition for my 8 boxes! pix tomorrow! box is done ready for in car test!
