Sound Quality L7 Or Btl?

Recommended Posts

neither one for sq purposes. as stated look at a q maybe an ssd fir a stretch

once again i am not looking for an SQ speaker just asking out of these two which one can play decent tones in a daily driver.

KRANNYMAN, thatks for letting me know how LOUD a Q gets. i had no idea it was as loud as L7's while still retaining good sound quality. Like i said i havent heard any FI's in person so it good to know that there SQ speaker can still be LOUD

Anyone know a shop in Los Angeles area where i can hear some FI setups?

ok, so your asking between two SPL subs, the BTL and an L7, wich would have better sound quality in a daily? Is that right? Hmmm, well, I am in the same situation... I am looking for a beast 8" to use in a pure SQ vehicle, but have the ability to get retarded loud. Anyone care to help me out as well? If it is between those two only, I would prolly lean twards the FI. Now I havent heard the FI, but from the reviews I read on here, and looking at the specs, and having had 4 L7 15"s in my crx, I would think the money would be on the FI, in the right enclosure mine you.

i use my btl's daily. i love how they sound. the l7's and solox's i've heard, start to smell a lil when played for a while. don't get me wrong, the l7's sound good too. also, you're probably gonna have to spend way more money powering a btl.
