CJtech323
Does anyone have any experience with the srx17pro? I have read good reviews online and I am thinking of buying them soon but just wanna know if anyone here has heard them. I plan on feeding them 120 watts rms from a Rockford Fosgate t400-2. Nightshade
I've heard the spx 17ref and they are badass. I plan on running a pair in my car here very soon. I'm sure that the pro's are even better. The only real difference is more power handling in the pro's and a much better crossover system. Other than that there doesn't seem to be too much on paper to seperate them. I like that fact that it comes with a bridge for the tweeter so you can mount as a coaxial woofer. I may actually run two pairs in my car if I can afford it. What kind of a price are you looking at for the pro's? 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz

CJtech323
Due to money shortage :censored: I have been looking at the spx 17ref. Are they geared more towards SQ or SPL? Also how does 120w rms sound for them?
kingsuv
Are you really going to put a full 120w to them all day? Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

kingsuv
I put maybe 40w to my front stage full tilt and thats more then plenty. 120 on any small speaker is asking for trouble Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
