From you other thread that got deleted...

I Changed A Couple Of Things Around And I Want To Know Which Setup Would Be Louder.

Old Setup:

SUB:(1) 18'' Fi.BTL (Fully Loaded)

AMP:(Two) Hifonics Brutus BXi 2008D (2000 Rms @ 1ohm,Overrated So Maybe 1700 Or 1800 Rms @ 1ohm Total 3600 Rms & Fi.BTL's Are Recommended @ 2000 Rms)

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12120_...+BXi+2008D.html

(4) Screws For Terminals (Solid Connections No Leaks)

Enclosure:(1) [Ported] 8.6 Cuft. (After Displacemant) Tuned To 32hz.

New Setup:

SUB:(1) 18'' Fi.BTL (Fully Loaded)

AMP:(1) AudioQue 3500D (3500 Rms @ 1 Ohm!! & BTL's Are Recommended @ 2000 Rms) [is The Amp Good Or What?]

http://www.audioque.com/aq/AQ3500D.htm

http://www.audioque.com/aq/images/AQ3500D/AQ3500Dguts.jpg

(4) Screws For Terminals (Better Solid Connection No Leaks)

Enclosure:(1) [Ported] 6.7 Cuft. (After Displacemant) Tuned To 32hz. 3/4 MDF

Will That Be Loud?

Also If The New Setup Is Better Will It Still Get As Deep As It Would If I Had It In The 8.6 Cuft. Enclsoure Since Im Giving It More Power?

For A Lucky Quess Do You Think I'll Hit @ Leats 148db's If Not A Little Over?

P.S:Had To Make Enclosure Smaller Because Im Giving It More Power. If I Would Of Kept The 8.6 Cuft. Enclosure Sub Would've Blew. This Is My Budget So Please Dont Ask For Anything More Expensive

I Appreciate You Reading This Message Please Answer:)

No one can tell you how loud you will be, its all in the vehicle and install, and your second enclosure is still to large for the power you will be giving it provided you upgrade your electrical...

So what are you electrical planned upgrades b/c your not going to run either of those setups on a stock battery....your gonna need a HO alt and batteries.....or atleast a few big batteries (not optimas)

Now I Already Know About The Alternators Batterys Big 3 Battery Isolators ETC. I Plan On Gettin One Or Two Iraggi 300amp. HO Alternators And 1 Kinetik HC 2400. Now Since You Said 6.7 Cuft. Is Still Too Big Then How About 6 Cuft. Even (After Displacemant)? When I Get My Electrical System Updated ETC. Will 6.7 Still Be Too Big Or Can I Move It Up To About 7-7.6 Cuft.?

the electrical aspect won't affect the enclosure (except when it comes to room) More voltage doesn't mean bigger box

So What Does That Mean Can I Keep The 8.6 Cuft Ft. Enclosure Still Using 3500 Rms Or Will I Have To Stay With The 6 Cuft. Enclosure I'll Be Happy If I Can Keep The Big Enclsoure. If Not 8.6 Cuft. Which I Want Whats My Max. Still Giving It 3500 Rms??

What theyre saying is in an 8 cube box 3500rms is a little too much power, the box size helps control the subwoofer. In a big box the sub can move a lot more freely so with that much power it will eventually destruct it due to mechanical failure (voice coil slapping the back plate). If youre going to stick with 3500 rms then you need about 6 cubes like they said. if you wanna keep it at 8 cubes then go with less power to keep the sub safe.

or you can do the recommended size enclosure with a 2000rms amp.

Thats a big box 8 cubes for 3500 rms.just go with the 6 cubes and you should be safe with the 3500 rms amp id go with this one.

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

I Know It Will Get Deeper If I Do That But Will It Be As Loud As The 6 Cuft. 3500 Rms? I Love Loud Music So Which Ever One is Louder Is My Pick.
