HHR Ed Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 is winter bad for your subs because i have heard they are and that there not so i dont no what to belive??? cold weather can actually be better on performance. But it doesnt really matter anyway. Amps and head units with complex electronics are more effected by temp changes. korey_hofer Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 cold air compresses more so your system puts out a higher db compared to a hot summer day when I used to compete I turned the air conditioner on then charged the batteries up before a run previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.
travo19 Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Here in Colorado we get some of the coldest winters in the mid south of the U.S. and I actually found my system to all in all perform better when its 10~20 degrees outside. My stuff was able to stay louder for longer periods without heating up. Also I never let my subs warm up. I get in and blast away... Haha, hypothetically Ascendant Audio 8 AA Havoc 15's in a 4th order
