Anybody Heard The New Square Mtx Speakers ?

my buddy went and got one of the 12's.. we built a 2 cube ported box " first box build".....got a cheap ass no name amp running at 4 ohms 400watts pushing the ts5512-22... hits pretty hard but dose not seem to get very low...thinking the speaker needs to break in...i will try to post some pics later

we built the box out of the manual that came with the speaker http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/manua...s/TS5512-22.pdf so im not sure and when you say settings on the amp what are you referring to the lpf ???

Probably where the low pass is set at, sub-sonic if it actually has one, phase, etc..... All that can kill your sound if it's set improperly.

does have subsonic left it at 10 htz and not sure what the low pass is at dose not have numbers all the way around it i kinda started at the bottom and turned it till it sounded good lol probably not right maybe someone can give me some incite on how to set the right way please

Your probably clipping it....by a decent amp and hook it up...aswell as get some here to design you a custom box or give them the specs and they can fgure what its tuned to. But a decent amp would be a good start.

just got a memphis pdr 1000.1 gona hook it up and see what happens
