looks good, still you may need to put some 2X4 from baffle to floor and ceiling to support the weight of the subs plus the other bracing. Keep the vids and updates coming. Is that the Belle? How do you like it?

Good news and bad news!

Good news: It's very loud, and the design was very strong. No problems. Played for a good hour today testing songs and everything was perfect.

Bad news: I don't like the sound. It's not what I'm looking for, so...it's coming out! New plans..

More bad news: The TermLab is on its way and it won't be here in time to get metered. Damn...

Gotta concentrate on my new projects now. I might do something simple in the cruiser, but the van is the next big thing...

What bit don't you like about the sound? Maybe you can modify it :)

Well it's great clarity and power, but the low end isn't very strong. Don't get me wrong, the mid-high end bass is very loud, but I love the gut-wrenching lows in my systems.

Honestly, I don't know if these PRs can reproduce lows that well in a sealed enclosure. Maybe I'm wrong when I say that because I'm not an expert about box acoustics, but I know what I want to hear/feel.

As far as modifying it....well I'm not sure. I think it would just be better to do something different and stick with ported enclosures. I told everybody at the beginning of my builds I go through tsystems like a fish goes through water. And I'm trying to find what sounds best in this car too.

Well the clarity is great and metal sounds so beautiful on it, but my lows aren't that great and I think it all boils down to the subs and vehicle. In most sealed clamshells I've seen, they can hit anything and everything. It does do that, but I love my super lows. The lows are loud, but not what I'm going for.

I do recommend this type of build for clarity though. Maybe different subs.

And don't worry. I'll wait til my wife leaves town and I'll have more time to go out and do some recording. I would wait for the TL to come in, but due to Christmas, it might take longer and I wanna get something else going and sell this all off.

And I think the next one will be something simple but loud in the cruiser. Maybe a box that I just put in (no wall) with four 12s or 15s ported on 8-10k. I'm working with Jeff at Stetsom to find a new amp for my new setup and depending on performance, continue using them when I do my van.

Haven't decided on the subs yet. Maybe I'll try out some BTLs or TSNS next.

My TL will be here tomorrow according to FedEx. You guys are lucky! I'll have a meter video tomorrow after I learn the program and find my peak.
