Neo_frog
Alright I got some stuff done today. Not too much off the list, but I worked a long time. Plus it was around 10 degrees the entire day and I was outside my garage for most of it! I got some more bracing on the baffles, bought a tube for some ideas I have for the front, and did a lot under the hood. Hey ptcary, you'll like what I fit under there... Need an install? Neo_frog
And here's the rest of the 'power setup'. I had to redo a lot of it considering the size of this battery. Modded some Scorpion 250A breakers to fit on my buss bar And hooked everything up. Now everything is done under the hood and my toes are frostbitten. Need an install? Neo_frog
And just a quick addition to that, without the MLA and with the Kinetik instead of the Optima under the hood, my voltage was 14.6 at idle. Nightshade
And just a quick addition to that, without the MLA and with the Kinetik instead of the Optima under the hood, my voltage was 14.6 at idle.My voltage sits at 15.2 with no MLA module and a stock battery when I start the car. It falls to 14.4 after a little bit of the car being on but still very high for no module and a stocker. I do have a Powermaster D3100 in the rear connected by 2 runs of 0 guage, but I doubt that is why my voltage is so high. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz

Neo_frog
I thought the MLA was plug and play? No wire cutting or splicing? Yeah, he said that with some cars (especially MOPAR) you actually have to pull out the fuse box and wire behind it, but I just wired it right before my PCM to save the trouble. Need an install? Here's my spiderweb!.... Honestly, I think we have different setups under there. But just a tip, be careful! I came very close to shorting a few times. If you have extra plastic or rubber lying around, I'd glue some buffers in there in the event rattling makes the bars spin or move. I'm gonna try to do that today. Need an install?
