REFF'SMy linkEBAYhttp://feedback.ebay...ck&myworld=trueI love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.
Boon
With the step in the back of the box to go around the wheel arches - any reason why you didn't make this a ramp instead? Seems like it might have better airflow like that. Is there anything in the top half of the box? I know a very loud car here (163dB SS1-2) had some minor issues with a step behind their bottom sub making the subs load differently and meant they got quite different impedance rise and hence power on each sub. 10.x volts fo' life! 2000LaDe
we are going to try to find the problem again on monday. we might be playin the wrong freq which might be making the amps draw more than normal. we are going to burp half volume from 20hz to 80 hz and write down the voltage drop, power output, and db reading. we have picked many well known peoples brains in the industry and they are clueless on why it does it. its not the voltage it doesnt seem like because we ran 16v batteries in it to try it and it still did it. but it doesnt do it off 2 amps. only when 4 amps or more are hooked up. its crazy we are j ust dumbfounded right now. guess we can check the freq's of the box and such and go from there. we have tried with good voltage and all and still does the same. problem is when we clamped 2 amps we seen 4800w. when we clamped 4 amps we clamped around 4800w between the 4 amps. and when we did 8 amps we clamped around 4800 between the 8 amps. its like it wont let us get anymore power than that. no matter the voltage. stumped!!!!!!!!!!! 2000LaDe
nope sure doesnt help. its not voltage cuz we tried 16v. im stressed all the hell and back because for 4 days we have been trying to figure this out. we have rewired everything like 10 times. ran multiple head units. ran different batteries. strapped the amps. unstrapped the amps. used a maxxlink. used a crossover. if u can think about it we have probably done it. dwright27
didnt you say yoiu was only runnning one like 250 amp alt?? those amps draw like 400 amps each iirc. so even with your battery bank, the 250 amp alt might not be able to charge it fast enough. did you try with more alternators?? maybe and more runs of 1/0 at the same time. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L.
