Neel
i keep mine at 80hz with a 18db slope, also the sub is out of phase with right mid and tweet . Eric Holdaway explained to me how every step in slope that you change, it changes phase by 90 degrees.. so im experimenting with staging and what not, trying to get my sub to sound like its coming from the dash where the rest of my sound is coming from. But if i wanna start slappin ill put the sub back in phase....theres no perfect setting for all cars...just play around with it bro.. your inbox is full btw! Quote Too Much Stuff to list . wL<3bass
I don't like mine any higher than 60ish hz Nor do I, I like my LPF set at about 60-65hz and my HPF is set to 55-60hz.... I don't like the sound of 80hz coming through a sub....prefer my mids to play that.... RSDs on double RMS FTW! Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
