Torres Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 SAZ will be easier on electrical... and if you dno what you're doin as far as box building...i wouldnt put either one of those full power on a BTL. unless you plan on only runnin 2k either way. then i'd get whatever is cheaper Quote
2000LaDe Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 u cant beat the new 4kw's. they dont get hot at all compared to the old 4kw's. they have a solid protection circuit. we have dropped it to 10v and it didnt hurt it just kicked its protection circuit on that cuts power output in half but doesnt kick the amp off. there is only a handfull of the new 4kws out and im running 8 of them. ive ran both amps. and i like both of them so i personally couldnt tell u which one to run. the price of the 3000d cant be beat besides by the Crunch GP3000d Pro. and of course the 3000d will be easier on ur electrical because its a 3000w amp vs a 4000w amp. and if i was u id definetly NOT put a 4kw on a btl. sundownz Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 2000Lade has it pretty well down - the 4kw is a bigger and more powerful amp and is generally more expensive, especially new. So pick em out based on budget I'd say. The 3000D is more than enough for your BTL. bigbodylexus Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Who is this Jacob and who does he think he is? (just kidding) I have personally ran the MOJO before and I would definitely go with the Sundown, the MOJO is power hungry, As soon as school is out me and Jacob will be doing business because I will be getting my own 3000D. The MOJO does do 4000 watts but damn it takes a lot to get there.
