Recommended Posts

I may have missed it in the build thread but is it getting painted at all or does he want to keep the stock paint? not saying theres anything wrong, I'm just curious.

thanks everyone!!

glad u like the vid and the progress :)

it is a long ass vid but to me it just looks better on video then the pictures. I feel like this way i can sorta bring you guys into my work area with me and explain what is going on better. Pics are good, but its very hard to get a good shot of anything black in the interior. Its either too dark, or when using the flash, its super bright and you can see every piece of dust :D

Your right it does look more awesome then in pictures. Even better in person I bet!

Sharing your thoughts with everyone does shed a different light on the project.

For those of us who don't get a chance to see your work and the effort expended.

Thx for the tour!

the PLAN is to change the color to two-tone black and grey to match the system and interior. I hope we stick to it!

Damn Steve, nice, very nice. Job well done man. I know it's only 90% done but shit man it looks good. Can't wait til you do a final tune on the audio then finally see this thing hit the streets.

as TRULY impressed as i am by the SQ and Sound pressure this thing puts out, it STILL has not been RTA'd and EQ'd out :) I got my laptop working not to long ago so that means i can tune this thing any time i am ready. Gains have all been set with a O-scope but no real tuning has been done yet. Unless you count the old school "smiley face" i drew freehand as EQing :D

cant wait til its done, maybewe'll get to see more of that Honda

i would absolutely LOVE to bring my honda under the cover, open the doors and the trunk and finish that ol' girl off. She is soooo close too....just needs the door panels wrapped and the amp trim panels in the trunk done. Maybe some baby-wilwoods :D

thanks!! The truth of it is there IS INDEED over 30,000rms AVAILABLE in this ride....but keep in mind only 15,000 on the bass and about 10,000 on the mids/highs due to the way they were wired. Thats fine though because its about 5,000 too much hahah....can you say "headroom" :D The second amp was purchased ONLY for mids/highs because we needed a matching amp. In order to ease the pain on the power supplies in the bass amp though, it is configured so one amp runs the left side of the car the other runs the right side....thats why when the needles move you see both "lefts" moving to bass frequencies. The next one to the right is mid-bass (the tens) and the furthest right is mid range and tweet. Anyway i just wanted to explain this because people think when i say 30,000 watts that i have everything just mashed into the sub-section and they forget that 26 of the 34 speakers are NOT subs :)
