if u are referring to James's comment, he did say they werent his favorite...

i like the krystals... but they could separate at some point at the junction of the brass connection and wire... some companies encase that part in plastic so they cant separate.... but so far i like those

ive used stinger hpm's and with a little to much pulling force they ripped apart at junction too so it happens

Same concept as power wire. If you run a strong signal into shitty wire, you'll lose quality. However, you won't "gain" quality by using bigger ones unless you're currently using shitty wire and are upgrading. You'll just get the intended signal from the hu.

I run the Krystal Kable, I like them a bit bulky but i like the thick casing could help protect it from getting pinched. But the junction on the ones i got have shrinktube around the connection. Also when I switched from my JL rcas to these i couldnt tell much of a difference so id say they are pretty good rcas

Given how terribly inaccurate most car audio setups are RCAs are the least of your concern. You would get identical sound from dollar-store RCAs and Monster ones, although they would have you believe otherwise.

There's only 2 things I pay more for in RCAs - the first is good quality construction, a car can be a harsh place for cables and if you're unplugging them a lot you don't want them falling apart.

The other is shielding. A car can be an electrically noisy place and you don't want that getting into your RCAs.

Otherwise, wire is wire. It's not like your signal is being limited by current-carrying capacity of the cable, unlike power wire where more actually = better.

Super-premium cables are bunk, IMO.
