I have a tad bit of experience with Rangers :)

i've seen some of your stuff over on CA.com. remarkable.

Unfortunately i'm not really looking for pure spl, just a loud daily driver.

do you think the box design is decent?

I'm uploading a pic of a 2 12" box that I used during the season. Give me a second and I'll post it.

I'd rather see you do subs up.

In my truck subs up is a full dB quieter at the headrest than subs forward. In the kick, they do about the same score.

maybe subs up port up?

That's what I said in one of my previous posts, but the box that you have drawn up isn't all that bad. You will probably get more spl if you fire woofers and port up, or woofers up and port to the drivers side like I said before. By firing the subs foward you won't hear the mechanical movements of the subs and that is the only benefit that I see by doing so.

Here you go man. Do 1 sub forward and 1 sub up. It did the same score as both subs forward in my truck. This design helps to save box length, it increases distance from the subs to the ports and people will also ask you how in the hell that it works. People have been doing off axis firing is other vehicles w/ success, so I figured that I'd be the first person that I know of to try it in a truck. This box did a 150 @ the headrest with 2 Type R 12's and a Kicker zx2500.1
