If you could do a "flared" 15s tunnel that would be something unique worth shooting for

Steve Mick IIRC has a flared bandpass with 8 18" Solo-X

Mids/Highs: Rockford T152s (a-pillars), Rockford T162s (doors)

Subwoofers: 1 15" Fi BL Fully Loaded

Wire: All 1/0g Kicker Hyperflex

bandpasses are VERY picky

Trust me I've done the research and that scares me. :lol:

I'm just trying to get opinions on the next build. I'm not leaning towards the 6th order, but who knows?

No, but honestly, I was hoping at a re-attempt at the tunnel now that I have more experience. And noob was right on the money when he said flared. That's what I had in mind for that one.

I lke the 8 15s in a tunnel ....you really dont have enough room to to do a 6th order and tune it properly ...

When I drew up the ideas and procedures, I didn't compensate for measurements. I don't know what's all entailed with that design or how much space it really needs. I'm glad you mentioned that.

I do, however have more than enough airspace for the 8 15s.

Well if it ends up being tunnel, I'll do LVL 4s, BLs, MOJOs or something of that level. And if it ends up being 6th Order, Probably BTLs, LVL 5s, TSNSs, SMDs etc...

You haven't managed to get a pretty plain enclosure to do what you want yet so don't go trying an exotic box. You'll just end up with another disappointing design that doesn't perform the way you want.

And let's face it, half the people suggesting a bandpass box wouldn't know the first thing about designing one themselves, nor what a bandpass is supposed to do, so take the poll results with a grain of salt.
