Harley I would say that depends on how much banging you've been doing before you decide to play the song. Let's say that you've been playing the truck for an hour straight and the coils are starting to get warm. Now you play this song where there are parts clipped in it. You have the volume at max listening volume and it gets to a clipped part of the song, yes there is potential of hurting a sub in those circumstances. Otherwise I doubt you'll hurt them, but it is possible to blow any sub on low power with a pretty badly clipped signal.
