i have a box for two rockford fosgate p1 15's. rated at 200rms ported and buil to specs. the box is 5.25cubes and tuned to 36hz. i want to upgrade the subs but keep the same box any ideas? i was looking toward polk momo 15's rated at 400rms. i have about a 9 inch mounting depth.

IMO I'd say if money permits go with 15" CVR's instead. They take 500RMS.

(Not sure on what amp you'll power them with.)

They only have a mounting depth of 7 15/16"

Your box might be a tad to small but I think it would work.

The Polk's are nice subs. Didn't look into specs for those though...

i used to run polk momo 12"s and they were superb they sounded real clean and got pretty loud... however.. you really gotta be careful about not over excursion them ... if you power them properly (obviously) and tune it right you'll be fine.

you ain't been bizzy til you've been wit jizzy.

AB's are over 200 each and geared more towards getting load rather then sounding great

they are 1500rms each , not efficient compared to what i showed you but they are ok if you just wanna sub that makes noise
