Forevrbumpn
looks sweet, but there needs to be some sort of constant port area. The opening like that will act as a un-tuned horn, if it was tuned, it would be crazy high But I love the design/concept, looks like that design has been proving very high numbers with a couple people Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. The opening like that will act as a un-tuned horn, if it was tuned, it would be crazy highBut I love the design/concept, looks like that design has been proving very high numbers with a couple people I had wondered about that. But looking at Charger, Ray and 2000Lade's builds they have had pretty good results just using the opening or a very short length of port. Either I treat it as if the narrower part of the V is port (which happens to have woofers firing into it ) or 2 folded rear loaded horns stacked on top of each other For the life of me I can't work out how to figure the tuning but it ought to play fairly low, especially once it's in a car :hairtrick: EDIT: Otherwise I shouuuuld have enough space to fit a small extension on the port. Just waiting for those exact dimensions! Edited January 8, 2009 by Boon Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
Charger
Yep definitely chuck a tuning piece to the port. The length is determined by enclosure volume and port area (obviously) Quote Previous 150+ daily rides: Volvo 240 wagon 2 x DD Audio 9915s walled, Isuzu Trooper 6 x DD Audio 3515s walled clamshell, Lexus LX470 2 x Kicked Solo X 18s, Lexus LS400 4 x American Bass HD18 walled SMD - System of The Month August 2008 My Youtube Videos

Boon
PS: You're forgetting Neil Barber's Blazer, have you seen it? I have now! :hairtrick: :hairtrick: :hairtrick: Made some changes based on feedback I have got -Holes in the braces -Extension to the 'port' -Changed shape of rear of wall, haven't done bottom part yet (still waiting for measurements) -Added battens to baffles where the meet the sides -Airspace is getting a little small but still acceptable. Hopefully I'll find some more when I know final dimensions. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!

Charger
Looking good mate just those angles on the back look like a bad thing. No chance in getting more room? Neil's just to add to the thread, hope you don't mind! Boon
The angles are kinda speculation at the moment, I think I can get a little more space up near the glass. I'm more worried about the space around where the seat used to be. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
