I currently have one Kinetic 2400 in the trunk, but I was wondering if I should install another one in the trunk as well. bigbodylexus Posted January 14, 2009 Report Share Posted January 14, 2009 With running 6k watts for just bass alone, I would definitely get a bigger alternator because unless you do alot of parking lot pimping, 2 batteries in the trunk isn't going to help much. I know everyone else here says Optima Yellow tops but I have a Carquest NGK battery under the hood and I have never had a problem with it. Thanks. get rid of the capacitor. keep the batteries though. look into the MLA module to keep them fully charged. Theres a couple alternator companys on this website. you can hit up the DCPOWER link that you see on the top of the page sometimes or mechman. So far i've heard alot of good things from mechman.
