Forevrbumpn Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 (edited) I have a friend who is never satisfied with the output of systems in his Buick Lesabre, anyone who knows these cars knows its hard to get loud in them. 12" Type Rs, custom 15s, JL w3s 12"s XXX 18 Nothing So I recommended I do a spare tire fiberglass enclosure, and cut some read deck out, These subs I built for him before as DVC 4ohm, I rebuilt them with better spiders, and a better coil, dual 1.2ohm, will be wired to mono 1.2 to a RF 2000.1- Should be a perfect match These subs have a higher Fs, not tested, but expecting about 35-37hz Fs, and the box is tuned between 35- 40hz. Hard to tell at the minute due to the shape obviously, and I don't have enough packing peanuts to get over all airspace, but its about 5cf-6cf So, here we go The subs: I mixed the resin to cold at first, and waited 4 almost 5 hrs waiting for it to dry with 1000watt halogen lights, damnnn Took it out flipped the box over, and re resined/glassed the bottom side Tomorrow, hooking up the amps, tuning everything, and doing side panels, batteries, 4 channel, should be done by 4pm Edited July 19, 2009 by Forevrbumpn Quote I have a ritual called "terminator".
