Alt gets my vote. imo alarms just let you know its happening, they dont protect anything from getting jacked. annoying when going off, and i hate remotes hanging from my keys too. custom security measures ftw

thats why im considering... around here if my car gets broken into people arent even gonn a care... they are just gonna keep on going...

chances are no one will be home when it happens too...

i dno... i called and talked to my insurance company and the say aslong as i have receipts for everything in my car, if it gets stolen its covered....

im iffy... the alarm would be smart but i dno if i want the 5900... i want remote start and a decent alarm... something better than stock... but dont want to spend $600 installed...

i have been thinkin about somehow (dont know if its possible) adding a train horn on the truck and wiring it to the alarm system for when it goes off and best of all the chirp chirp haha. i think that would be fun and i will definitly hear it if someone trys to get in.

Thats they way it is now... They told me i need pictures AND reciepts for everything.... I dont have reciepts for half my shit cuz my computer fried and i have all the pictures but dont think they will accept that as good enough....

i dont need the alternator right now. im doing ok on voltage for the most part. but i would definitly like one before i add any more power or subs.

you should be able to wire a train horn into your alarm. I just installed a 120 psi ones on to my buddys truck. I believe all you have to do is take the wire from the alarm that goes to the seirn and redirect to the solenoid that activates the horn. I wanted to do it to his but we have jets that fly over our house's and his alarm keeps on going off.
