Decaf
about 1/2m away from the train station to head into chicago to see Jerry Springer taped live, some dumbass on his cellphone creamed the front end of the grand am. my fiance was driving, friend in the front and i was in the back seat, unbuckled speeds were 55 for the guy who ran a red light and ~40mph for us as we entered the intersection its a very busy intersection in elburn, il rt47 and keslinger rd.... my fiance got put on a back board and c-collar applied, while i refused medical attention because somehow, i was the only one who saw it coming and crouched down and relexed for impact, something my mom(RN of 15yrs has always told me) luckily we all said our prayers and we escaped with minor cervical strains/back pain but we got valium and norco, so at least ill be feeling good for a few days had my fiance been driving a little faster, we would have been t-boned, and probably need to be extracted from the vehicle if you believe in gardian angels or that god watches over you, you can related, because this was as close to death as ive been i rarely vent about my personal life, but this was f*'d up... we are hoping to have the car covered, medical bills, and hopefully time lost not being able to work for 5 days so all the time and money ive put into the car, gone, frame is bent... totaled hopefully that was the 3rd occurence of my bad things come in threes Edited January 29, 2009 by decafcappucino
