CLNFREAK Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Built a 4th order for 2 JL w3's I am quite happy with the sound produced, its tuned to about 38-40 hz, the subs will handle 600 each I am puttin about 300 to the pair (my big sub amp blew ) the box is in a 06 impala and fires thru the center of the rear seat, so the seat can stay up, I like how the box sounds and wouldnt hesate to build another (mmmm 18" Fi subs and 4000 + watts ) . your box looks great no hijack intended

zfrerichs Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Don't take this the wrong way but who ever designed that bandpass doesn't really know bandpasses very well. The usual ported/sealed ratio is roughly 3:1 and if your short on space 2:1. If I were you I would go to Floridaspl.com and talk to Gmonk(Chuck) or mp3pimp(Robin), they will know more than your guy on CACO, trust me. 80inches on CA.com is good with bandpasses as well.
