WE all know a guy that has two 18's that is the loudest on the planet at this time, Alan Dante. A lot has to do with your build! Sometimes less is more! but not always. Bad example Dante's doesn't play music. I would still take the 18's. But go with BTL's they sound better. jonathancullen89 Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 if power is the same, and 2 18's vs 8 15's, and u know what ur doing 8 15's will spank 2 18's. now you can put a shit load of power to those 8 15's, unless u dont have the room the 15's will be louder. if u dont have the room and make way 2 small of an enclosure and put the 15's in there u wont like it and it will sound like ass. what is this going in? did i miss that?
