dr hypothesis Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 Well I got my D3400 and D3100 from MechMan today. The D3100 is resting at 12.74 and the D3400 is resting at 12.51. I don't have the Powermaster charger (can't afford it at the moment), so how should I go about charging these before I put them in? pstone11 Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 Get a little black and decker smart charger from walmart. It'll do fine until you can get a powermaster. It kicks over to a float charge to keep the batts happy just like the more expensive chargers do. Quote Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page!

loopkiller Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 Best charger in the world is under the hood of your car. Your alternator! Quote
scottiej Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 We recommend the 1005 Intelli-Charger, but if you have a normal "timer type" charger it is fine to use as long as you closely monitor the voltage. With a normal type charger use the trickle setting and monitor the voltage closely to make sure it doesnt exceed 14.9V. Quote XS POWER Batteries, Chargers & Accessories 888-4XS-POWER
