Forevrbumpn
I'am a little late on this, I was busy getting kind of faded tonite, its Saturday...... Its 7.5cf tuned to 33hz- Large area port ( not as big as the opening looks, thats just to direct the flow to the sweet spot for metering, if he ever meters it, while still retaining good SQ) The box was designed for max gain, while still being acoustically pleasing.... I have been extremly sick this last week, I got better fast, but got sick very fast as well, bronchitis is a bitch- Flu+ Asthma= very painful sickness Here are a few build pics, again, I was very sick, and had about 20 mins build time every time I worked on the box Finally done, box all sanded, filled, ready for paint Again, I was not pleased until the very VERY end, I finally started to feel better, I was sick as a dog, and anyone who talked to me on the phone knew how sick I really was. 20 mins about 2 - 3 times a day,( I seriously couldn't move the box more than 3 feet, without going in side and resting on the couch!!!) took me a whopping 3 - 4 days to get this finally done I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Forevrbumpn
why only 1/4 recess for the subz? looks kinda funny, other than that looks great, do work Your right, dead on 1/4" I would have liked to go on down to 1/2" at least and get that woofer recessed in there nicer, but I guess at this point as long as it looked good, and served its purpose- dead on OD of the 15" with gasket, with just enough play to fit woofers I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme.
